Always. And if I see those who don't park somewhere, I smash the taillights with my 6-cell Maglite. (JK)

I consider it an insult and rudeness on the part of drivers that don't signal. It takes so little effort to do. It's against the law as well. This goes to the whole lack of respect in our society. If you don't signal consider the fact that if you change lanes and someone plows into you then it's your fault not theirs. Be nice to you driving neighbors!

I try to always signal but what is more annoying is people with burned out tail lights. How an I supposed to tell you are slowing or stoppign if you have no break lights

I always signal and it's a pet peeve of mine with people who don't signal.

As for getting into a lane, if you think a driver is going to give you trouble, soon as you put your signal on start rapidly moving into their lane. You will almost always get in before they can do a thing and it looks bad for them if they do try when you signaled.

It is so habitual that I even do it in the silliest places like pulling into my driveway or in a parking garage even when there are no cars around me.

Where are you guys on the road?

I see maybe one other courteous, friendly driver per day (out of thousands) who is willing to spare an extra two or three seconds to do things like:

Let people merge onto the interstate (honestly, are other people trying to kill people who are trying to merge?)

Use turn signals (to indicate that they're going to turn..many people use turn signals but I haven't figured out what the hell for yet.)

Check their blind spots so as to avoid killing themselves and others. (is it that hard?)

Obey traffic lights

Let other people change lanes. I assume they're trying to change lanes for a reason so I'll slow down if someone ahead of me flips on their turn signal. I have never encountered any other human being willing to do this.

In many cases, even following the friggin' lines is too much for some people. Almost got run off the road by some old moron who couldn't understand a lane shift.

I'm not even mentioning what people do in parking lots. I'm amazed at the levels of stupidity of drivers in parking lots...

I usually use it. Sometimes I don't, but nobody is perfect.

Yes I do. I even do it when I know that no one is around. That way it becomes second nature.

I certainly think that drivers are getting worse and worse. I've been noticing that more and more people don't seem to understand what those painted lines on the road are. I've seen a far number of people straddles lanes for miles and miles.

How about stops signs, I mean slow down signs, I mean not stopping at all signs? It's getting really bad in my neighborhood. People just cruise right through them around here.
