Do you shred letters, documents with identifying information?

in these days of rampant identity theft maybe we all need a personal document shredder for the home as well as the office..?

Shred, FTW!!

Absolutely!

I take a bag of junk to work about once every two months. The indistrial shredder there is just so much stronger and faster. Of course, I shred on my breaks! 😉

After watching the Dateline NBC spot in which the guy tore the credit card application into 30 pieces, taped it together and then wrote an alternative address in the address field and still was approved for a $5,000 credit card that was sent to his dad's house....I shred it all!

While I have never tried on nor owned a tin-foil hat.....I do shred all my mail that I don't keep. Plus it just makes it easier to sort....keep or shred. No thinking involved on what to tear up to trash, etc.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
