On rare occasion, when relevant to the conversation, etc., I will bring up things I read "on the internet," but I never specify that those things come from a forum, let alone the AnandTech forum. The main reason for this, obviously, is that every now and then I like to come to a place where I can anonymously share stories about anonymous people that piss me off, without them knowing even if they get suspicious for no reason and raid the Google.

I have about 2 friends that I've spoken of ATOT to, one of them is now a member here, though not a very active one, his user name is Syrch and he sucks goat balls.


The other one looks at hot deals every now and then since I'm always telling him of all the good deals I find but he's never registered.

my wife knows i'm a forum geek. i try to tell my friends what i do on the computer most of the time, but they lose interest as soon as i say "hardware forum".
