I have hypothyroidism, probably Hashimoto's Disease. The most recent test and the things my GP has told me give me the impression it's a bit out of her depth to treat. So, I'm going to find a good Endocrinologist in my area. Do you see one? What qualities do you look for in one? I live in an area with a gazillion medical professionals, so I'm sure I can find a decent one, but any tips that can help me not have to wade through ones I hate first would be awesome. I understand what the disease is and isn't and what the meds are etc. So I don't need info/advice on treatment, just thoughts on finding a good doc. PSA: Your thyroid is not to be ignored. If you think it's off, get that damn thing checked!
