Do you save the boxes from all of your purchases?

I kept every single box ever for the longest time. I just sold a collect of Apple iPod boxes on eBay that included mint condition boxes from every iPod produced. (Both the iPod Photo and iPod Color!) I was glad to get rid of those. I also threw away a few miscellaneous boxes.

I always keep my LCD and Computer case boxes though, to repackage the items when I move or sell them. 19

I keep the boxes on things that I will eventually resell, or things that may require RMA/warranty service.

Somehow just keeping the cardboard something is encased in makes people willing to pay $10-$20 more on electronics.

for cheap crap? sure i throw it out.

but most electronic items i keep the box. well all but my big TV that damn thig was to big to keep. so i burned it heh

Usually only for a few weeks. If the purchase has problems, that way I have the box to send it back in. After a month or so you can be pretty confidant you have a good piece of equipment, so I usually chuck the box after that. I keep very few boxes, usually just high-end stuff that I may want to sell in the future.

i did keep boxes for all my stuff until i realized we ran out of room in the apartment and there was a closet full of nothing but electronics boxes.

I often save the boxes from the stuff I've purchased, to use them for storage. But if they're worn out, I just toss them away.

I use to keep every damn box for everything from big TVs down to digital cameras, and everything in between (including a LOT of my kids' toys).

I then got a little better and started throwing out boxes for things I have had for a long time.

We recently moved out of our old house and I threw out almost all my old boxes (Except my Shuttle Computer boxes).

In the future, I am going to try to be a more selective as to what I keep (Except I do not see myself ever throwing out my Shuttle boxes - too proprietary).

for all my technology items and gadgets, i keep the boxes. I tend to upgrade most items every 6 to 12 months, so I'm always reselling them, it's nice to have the box for them.
