Do you run your computer with the side panels of your case off?

I do and have been. I also think it is a contributing factor to my computer farking up right now. There is tons of dust in there that I haven't gotten to get out for a long time :(

Broken computer = ruined spring break.

not just the side but the whole cover off.

I do this too, but I think I've learned my lesson. One is never to buy Enlight cases again, and two that dust is not a good combination with electronics, period.

I do, because I know that as soon as I put the sides on, it'll crap out and it'll be time for me to take it apart and put it back together...

I used to run mine without the side panels, until one day a little moth flew in and was pwned by an 80mm fan.

You guys all keep the same parts in your system long enough to get dust in there (and also have to vacuum)?:Q

My insides are changed out often enough that they do not have time to gather dust..

Sometimes. It's not loud with it off nor does it run hot with it on. It's more a matter of how often I'm going to be getting inside of it to mess with stuff.

to all those vacuumers, when you "vacuum", do you just pull out the ol' hoover and the little tube attachment thing and vacuum away on the insides?

i leave one side off...pretty much due to laziness...it lies on the ground next to my machine:)

i vacuum when necessary..just turn off the power and stick the hoover up in that, nothing bad ever comes....just dont be stupid and stick it on the equipment

Both sides off :D

Computer parts are new but casing is old.. so i have very little fans to keep computer cool :p... only one in fact for the CPU...

works perfect though :D quiet, no noise at all. Bull helluva lot of dust i agree :D

Nope. Too noisy, and too much dust. I also can't get proper airflow through the system like that.
