In the "Lock" menu, make sure "engage lock when screen saver activates" is unchecked or go to the "Programs" menu and check the "Pass Lock" box for whatever programs you want to have internet access while the screen saver is on.

I run Norton Personal Firewall here at school (v. 2002). How well does that software really run?

Linksys router. Using NAT of course, and I have stateful packet inspection, and block WAN request enabled.

I just use my RT314 as my "firewall". I know its not totally secure, but I just have it block WAN-incoming requests on ports 21,23,80,etc.

You can also have the router route packets to a non-existent machine.

yes. i use sygate. zone alarm would give me blue screens whenever i used netmeeting with it.
but now im using cuSeeme. so maybe i'll switch back to ZA
