But what really bugs me is when I answer the phone and the person asks, "Who is this?" WTF is that, at least ask for someone.

the best is when you call a wrong number and hang up, then they call you back and this happens

Him: "who is this?"
Me: "who is THIS?"
Him: "you called me"
Me: "No, YOU called ME."

usually this happens when dial a cell phone and get voice mail, then they check their phone and see that I've called but don't recognize the number and must call to figure it out.

its a bit more difficult answering the phone becuase I run a business off of my cell phone and also give the number out as my personal line. Caller ID comes in handy except when "Private Caller" shows up. So i'm forced to answer the phone with "Lee Net & Co, how can I help you?" even if it's one of my friends :(. If I know whose calling I'll answer the phone by violently picking it up and saying "WHAT?!?!". Catches people off guard. :)
