Yes I do. I don't always like them, and they don't always like me, but they've always supported me in my life's endeavours, they've raised me with a good conscience and moral values, they've given me a lot of the things they weren't fortunate enough to have when they were my age.

They did all this, and they didn't even want me! (I was one of those "pleasant surprises"😉).

lol, glad you turned out fine even if it was by mistake 😉

i think a lot of you guys are confusing APPRECIATE with RESPECT. yes, i APPRECIATE all my parents's sacrifices and hard work in raising me. but do i always RESPECT the views they have and the way they act and the things they do? not necessarily.

Always have, always will.
I have lived away from my parents since I was 16. But I have always been in touch, and have tried to be with them at every possible opportunity.
I hated them when they 'helped' me decide my major in school. But I never complained. They told me what was right or wrong for me, they gave me good education, they were there for me whenever I Was in trouble (which was a lot!)

I on my part have always tried to pay heed to what they say. Tried NOT to hurt them. Esp. now that they are old and my father has retired. He still makes the decisions for the family (based on my and my sister's advise, of course 🙂)
