Just a random thought. Been following the forums for 2 years, but only now have I decided to join in, to post some comments, instead of just reading 'em. Took me 20 minutes to write this line. Had mixed feelings of what to say, or how to make the sentence short, precise and interesting. Haha. Laugh all you want. This is my VERY first post!
 
I think my first post was in a religion thread. Red Dawn flamed me right away and my ATOT virginity was stolen. 😀
 
First post was in GH about a data recovery tool I had just used to backup a 160gig drive that failed, next post was in either GH or HD
 
I know it was in the DC forum. When I joined, that's pretty much the only place I posted. Then migrated to GH. Got sick of all the "Rate my computer!" and "I overclocked my 2GHz cpu to 15GHz and now my computer won't boot. Please help!!!" threads. So now I post here. Infrequently.

me too but I just got this kickass steamer so I've been steaming all kinds of stuff. broccoli tonight.

Oh god I don't even remember. I know I registered, posted a few times, then left for a few months. Came back the second time for good though.

no no, one of my new years resolutions is to drop 15 lbs of blubber so I'm at about 1800 calories a day for the next 12 weeks.

No, I don't remember it, and neither does the server. No matched in archived messages for my previous two user names. However, the first one for this name was when I was going to upgrade from my rockin' Q2 rig.

The result was a MSIK7T Pro2(A) and Duron 800. The board died, and I got a MSI K7 Master, which is now my dad's Linux desktop box. The wierd thing is that Duron would not go above 1GHz. No combination of parts or settings could get it booting into Windows at even 1005MHz, but it ran at a cool 1GHz rock solid until I killed it.
 
I think my first post was hot deals. Then I tried to sell some stuff in FS/FT, risked a P3-933 at the time in a "cross trade" and hoped for the best.
