Yes, it's called thinking for yourself.

I don't steal because it is wrong, not because it is illegal. I don't speed in construction zones because it's dangerous for the workers, not because it is illegal. I pay taxes because if I don't I'll be arrested and put in jail, not because it is the law.

There is a risk to buying and using pot, but it varies tremendously. If someone is passing a joint around at a party, and you take a puff, the risk of getting arrested and charged for that is very, very low. If you run around the streets trying to score dimebags from anyone that looks like they might deal, your risk is quite high.

...and if they do a drug test at work what happens?

I never tried it. In fact I never tried any regular cigs either. I kinda like the smell of the stuff though. I'm sure I'd like it if I tried, just not my thing, don't want to get into that.

I can honestly say I have never smoked, used pot, or taken any kind of illegal drug in my entire life.
Here too. Life is far too interesting and magical to spend part of it f*cked up. Haven't even been mildly drunk in over thirty years now, although I'll still take a couple shots of bourbon now and again.

I don't know, I don't work with a bunch of meth heads so no company I've ever worked for has ever given me a drug test. If they ever did, I'd probably quit since it would be an outrageous violation of my privacy. (And I haven't smoked in at least a year and probably two.)

So, you're one of those people that chooses which laws you're going to follow?

Yup, it's called being moral. Otherwise you have this:

N!gger get your ass back in the field.
Jew get your ass back in the oven.
Bitch get your ass back in the kitchen.

Laws are not morality. They are fallible and MUST be ignored when they violate human rights or even simple reason. Do what's good, and right, and just...not what's legal.

Hmmm....I think a law against stealing is stupid.
Speeding in a construction zone? Bah!
Pfftt....who needs to pay taxes...

Where's your limit? Pot is illegal, it can get you arrested, fired, and can ruin your life because of it. Not worth the risk in my eyes.
Marijuana isn't illegal everywhere. Stealing pretty much is. It's not fair to use a blanket statement to portray all people who smoke marijuana as criminals given the vast discrepancies in legality from region to region. I don't smoke pot, but I have friends who have medical marijuana cards and/or grower's licenses. It's perfectly legal in this jurisdiction for them to carry and smoke pot. Just because it's illegal where you live doesn't make it universally bad.

As for your examples: I don't smoke pot, not because it is illegal, but because I don't like the sensation it gives me. I don't steal, not because it is illegal, but because it is against my sense of morality. I don't speed in construction zones, not because it is illegal, but because I am concerned about the safety of workers in the roadway. I pay my taxes, not because it is the law, but because I believe that we should all chip in as a society to make our government function effectively for everyone, and that includes paying for the operations of the nation. If you're only doing these things because you're scared of jail, I'm really concerned about your mindset; would you be out in the street murdering your neighbors if there weren't laws against that sort of thing?

Doing an action solely because it is the law is what allows unjust laws to go unchallenged.

Well put.

Yup. Girl from school took a huge puff and then shoved it down my throat. I almost choked to death. This was back in 1995 or so.

It also smelt like shit...lol I didn't know if it was her breath or the weed.

Not really, you would have to be record setting stupid to let one PU case ruin your life. Also, high-school drop outs figure out how to pass these tests you speak of with extreme proficiency after like 15-20 min on the internet. Just saying.
