I get so relaxed I almost fall asleep. My barber could have sweeneytodded me so easily today. I relax in the dentist chair too. Helps a lot that I totally trust my pretty dentist and hygienist.:)

I always fall asleep watching TV at the dentist. I never fall asleep at the barber/hairdresser because she's awesome.

No problems at the barber. I'm good friends with my barber, and all the small-talk makes the time fly by.

I only have issues at the dentist when they leave me waiting far too long while numbed up. Otherwise, it's not much worse than a trip to the bank. ;)

I try to relax to an extent in the dentist chair. But after the last time, she asked me something to the extent of which teeth were coming out, and I was only in for a cleaning. I dont think it will be as easy to relax from now on.

Same here. How could he even COMPARE the two? One is pain that is "good for you." The other doesn't hurt at all (I enjoy the clippers vibrating against my skull...) and you look all spiffy when it's done. Black and White, anyone?

I fall asleep every time at the dentist, but before my cleaning. I schedule my appointment, come in 5 minutes early to wait, they call my name, and then I sit in the dentists chair for literally 10-15 minutes before anyone even sees me. I use that for nap time.

I am very relax in the Dentist chair after a couple of alcoholic drinks :wine: right before visiting the dentist. Of course you'll need someone to drive you to the dentist.

Dentist usually helllllll no. So much prodding and poking. Although I have fallen asleep a few times, it's normally because I'm rushing off to the dentist after work or school and I'm exhausted. Barber?...maybe.
