I miss missing class.

I miss sleeping in until 2.

I miss goofing around with all my buddies until 4 in the morning.

I miss all my income being disposible.

I miss never having to drive to a friend's place.

I miss doing whatever I want at 10 am, or 10 pm.

I miss having 6 12" subwoofers in a 10x14 concrete room.

I miss having a $300 monthly housing bill that included rent, phone, electric, cable, water, internet, and foozeball.

I don't miss SCHOOL at all.

I miss school. But I don't miss it enough to be a grade school/high school teacher -- maybe a university professor... 🙂

I miss the carefree party days and hanging with friends. You don't realize it now, but college days are carefree days compared to what you're going to be experiencing unless you seek further education.

I don't miss being broke and living at poverty level and eating Ramen noodles all the time.

Overall, I'm glad I'm not in college any more, but you have an unbelievable amount of responsibility to take on.

I could have not said it better

It's true, but it doesn't take into account the people who took on the responsibility of being financially independent before they finished college. For us, it's a relief to get finished with school and only have work to worry about.

Yup, 3 semesters a year, 16+ hours each semester, worked fulltime, lived on my own. When I graduated it was like a vacation because all I had to do was work, and it wasn't a sh!tty retail job anymore.
