Wireless to keep your options open. The wireless router should also have 2-3 wired ports.

I have had an excellent wireless network for the past 5-6 years. Wireless brings nothing to my party except slower speeds and higher security risk. My Cat5 cables are all embedded under the carpet - no reason to go wireless.

I have used wireless with my laptop travelling - but it can't compare in reliability of connection like being wired at home.

wireless, because it's easier for my neighbors to "hack" into my network.

Yes Wireless

1. It's getting cheaper.
2. My laptop can go anywhere around the house including outside down the street.
3. I can jack into people's internet signal with my 802.11g card.

No For Wireless

1. People who don't know how to securley set it up.
(hence, they give me a free high speed internet) --...wait, is that bad? :)

Wired......but then I can get all the crap I need out of my truck. Just need to add a $10 router.

Thank you all for your comments and participation.

As you can see, the majority is prefered "wire" network. Since wireless router support both wire and wireless, I am going to get a Belkin Pre-N once it is available. I chose Belkin because it has lifetime support. I will never buy Netgear again. I just paid $30 over the phone for troubleshooting my router. I thought it was something complicated for a network dummy; however, it turns out that I did everything correctly except that the wan port isn't working. I should buy a new router and test it out. This way I can save $30 toward a good router. :)

Are you using b or g? I'm considering going all wireless in my new house as I'm sick of pulling wires and drilling holes. Will be sharing among 4-5 computers. Any tips?

I have a DI 614+ while I perfer the using wired for stability reasons I use the Wireless on it all the time with my laptop with out problems. What can I say though I bought the Router for 15 bucks on a hot deal, even if the wireless part was broken I think I made out pretty well.
