It's just a lot easier on the eyes, and DIGG seems to mention a wider range of topics.

I checked out Digg today. It came up again in another thread (about the sites people visit regularly). I wonder if it's intentional that folks are talking it up or if it's just on a popularity up-swing. Eitherway, it's not that impressive at first glance, but, Isaw a link to XBOX360 firmware hacking that was an interesting read.

I read digg for the format and not for the discussions.

Digg is much easier on the eyes and to navigate through. The discussions are pretty childish sometimes. /. Does have better discussions, but Digg just has a lot more variety in their headlines and updates faster.
