Digg has better variety.

Yupp,
no to mention that slashdot is an outlet for Maldas cartoon asian chicks fetish. In either case, the discussions are about the same.

WHAT?

Oh man, what have I been missing by only reading the stuff on the fp?!?

I checked out Digg today. It came up again in another thread (about the sites people visit regularly). I wonder if it's intentional that folks are talking it up or if it's just on a popularity up-swing. Eitherway, it's not that impressive at first glance, but, Isaw a link to XBOX360 firmware hacking that was an interesting read.

//Don't own an x360 or any consoles (unless you count a dusty n64), but, I like to read about that stuff, so, I'll bookmark it. I imagine that hacking forum will be shutdown there sooner than later with the added popularity it's getting now.

I never thought I would let this happen to me. Digg has been taking up alot more of my time anymore. So, Digg it is.

Digg is like a bunch of 7 year olds arguing over who gets the last gummy bear, I stay far away. A Slashdot feed is on my Google Homepage.

Digg is much easier on the eyes and to navigate through. The discussions are pretty childish sometimes. /. Does have better discussions, but Digg just has a lot more variety in their headlines and updates faster.
