Do you prefer /. or Digg...

Now with extra pole.

If you've read both, please use one of the top three poll options.

If you don't read both, use the 4th or 5th option.

I like /., but haven't really read digg regularly. Just wondering what you all prefer.

I read both of them. Digg updates faster, But the discussion on slashdot is much better.

Slashdot by a mile. Judging from the stories and comments on their site, Digg seems to be run by a bunch of 13 year old Apple and Nintendo fanboys.

True. Any anti-Apple story or comment gets buried within minutes.

Digg has been very good for Wii fanboyism this past week 😛 They've consistently bashed the PS3 all to hell while burying any pro ps3 comments, rather amusing to watch.

I actually just started going to Digg and I like how quickly it updates, but /. has more nerd news so it got my vote.

i never liked the layout of slashdot so I dont read it. Never read digg.

I just go to the local ATOT for my news.

Pretty much sums it up.

Digg often has more of "oh, that's cool" stories, while /. is better for the discussions/more in depth stories.

/. hands down. The people who comment on Digg are idiots, and too many of the stories are just random blogs. The commentary on Slashdot is far far better.

Often, I only read /. for the comments.

I read neither, but want to vote anyway

Voting is cool. This is a great poll option. Now I'm "part of the process"!

Yupp,
no to mention that slashdot is an outlet for Maldas cartoon asian chicks fetish. In either case, the discussions are about the same.

i've been reading slashdot for about 5 years now...but, nowadays i usually find myself sticking to digg more.
