I can at least understand that people use the term "ghetto" to refer to black culture, even if I don't (I associate it with poor folk). But I wonder if it's just plain confirmation bias to suggest using phrases like "low-class" and "obnoxious" towards something makes you racist. Does ANYONE associate the word obnoxious with a specific race? I would hazard a guess that not a single person does, and yet there it is. I can understand low-class a bit, but I always think of stereotypical white trash as opposed to stereotypical thugs when using it.
