Do you prefer clubs or bars?

Bars here. The few times I've been to a club it's been filled with metrosexuals and horrible trendy music. I guess it's a good place for meeting a couple skanks, but other than that, they seem lame.

A metal bar can be more effective at bashing a skull than a wooden club.

I go to bars because I don't dance. I don't like it, I can't do it, and the people who are doing it usually look pretty stupid to me.

Either is fine with me, I got back from a club no more than 12 hours ago..

bars. clubs have covers, have to wait to get in, crowded, drinks are waaaaaaay overpriced and the music will more than likely suck. at least at bars the music is controlled by a jukebox or by a d.j. who will take requests. some places have a small dance area if thats your thing, and screens to show sports and such. i almost forgot one of the most important things: pool tables and dart boards.

I don't find clubs all that fun. I like going to the little dive bars with my friends and just taking it easy over a few beers.

I like bars where I can actually hear what my friends are saying.

Bars. The smaller and darker the better. I like my little holes in the wall. They have cheap drinks, and no loud obnoxious music (which usually brings out loud obnoxious people).

Not just bars, dive bars. Can break stuff and people won't care, get as wasted as you want to, etc. Plus cheap drinks.

My "entertainment dollars" are best spent on hookers and booze I've found. More bang for the buck so to speak!

Definately bars. Clubs are just not my scene. You gotta dress up like a douche and dance around like a fairy. At bars, you can just chill out and take it easy talkin to other people

You can't have fun in a club unless you're sweating on a packed dancefloor or standing at the bar drinking something fruity and talking on a cell phone. In a bar you're having fun just being there, no acrobatics or paper umbrellas required.

also bars usually have cheaper drinks. heck the bars around here also have some really good food.

the thing with clubs is that you have to go in with a group of friends mixed with some females. if you go with just guys you're gonna just stand around all nite with a drink in your hand.

Bars, especially if you're into live music. The only live music I've seen in clubs are washed up 90s hiphop and boyband artists. Bars are where the good local music is, plus the occasional classic rockers. I don't mind clubs, but they're just generally not my thing. :thumbsup: here, as well, to billiards and darts (and foosball!).

When you have to shout into your friend's ear just so they can hear what you're saying (if even then), then it's not my kind of place. Bars, on the other hand, can be great places to relax, have a few drinks, chill, have fun, and so forth.
