Do you play the lottery? What's the closest you've come to winning?

I dont and dont plan to start anytime soon. But my grandma wanted me to buy her one lottery ticket on a whim a month or so back. So I bought it. But I misplaced it. Oh well. Bought another one and it was a big stinker.

A few weeks later I found the original ticket I bought and I went online to look up the winning numbers. It was "Maryland's Big 5" or something.

I got the first three #s EXACTLY right. Unfortunately the last two #s and the "money ball" number were way off so I didnt win squat. Still, it got my heart racing for a few minutes there.

4 outta 5 + mega number in California. The last number was 2 digits off! That close to $7 million.

It was a small, highly taxed later by the feds $2k for those who wanted to know.
