SandEagle plays them all, but none of them. Interesting!

I can play guitar but I haven't in probably a year.

Just started playing guitar 6 months ago.
It's my first instrument. It's fun and there is much to learn and practice.

guitar, piano, bass, vocals

I could probably pick up anything with strings pretty easily.

Bass guitar, Chapman Stick, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Double Bass.

Pretty much everything low (besides the low woodwinds) :)

4 other people voted strings, but no one else posted.

I played the violin for 11 years before I stopped after school, I need to start again for my SIL's wedding.

Alto/Soprano Saxophone, mostly Alto.

Medium to low brass, mostly low (trombone, baritone, tuba) although I love the sound of flugel/french horns and wished I'd played them more.

I also used to play drums in middle school although I wasn't really good (read: pretty horrible) and based on my visit to the music corner at BestBuy about a month ago I have lost all my abilities (no matter how small they were) to play drums altogether.

I can't play anything.

My brother plays every instrument. He's best with strings, but he can drum decently, and he can play trombone or trumpet or french horn or piano or anything else he's ever had a chance to put his hands on. He plays every style of music as well.

My father is good with brass instruments, his favorite being the french horn. He's in like 6 different orchestras and bands.

Just gotta practice dude, unless if you're completely musically clueless I guess. Take a few lessons or watch beginner videos first though IMO. Even then, it's pretty easy to get tabs of your favorite songs and play them.

I am a left-hander and started playing that way when I first picked up my dad's guitar. My dad didn't want to buy a left handed guitar for my lessons so I learned right handed, lulz, so if I can do that (not hard really), you can learn.

I did the piano for ten years (8-18). I did the violin for ten weeks. I love the piano but wish that I had so much more time to spend with it. I had a trio of Rachmaninoff pieces that I played at my peak. Now I'm lucky to get through the Maple Leaf Rag.

ehh, i used to play the flute many moons ago. after the bagpipe mention earlier it reminded me of my love for celtic music. i went ahead and placed an order for a tin whistle (similar to one in link below). i will try to get back in the groove of playing music. OP, thanks for creating this thread.
