Do you pay a housekeeper to clean your house?

yes. $10/hour... same woman that my parents have been using as their cleaning lady for years, so I've known her for a long time.

she comes once every 2 weeks.

only takes about 2 hours to clean my apartment, and $40/month split between my roommate and I is definitely worth it to not have to do it ourselves.

I've done it before but they suck, both me a wife agree, there's clean and then there's *CLEAN*. Leave streaks in mirrors and generally don't clean that well. Maybe I need a German or something but they cost too much I'm sure, or not available. The mexicans are $180 for a day, crew of two. Sure it would be great to take a whole weekend and come back laundry folded perfect and house sterile but you're not going to get that on what I can afford so we do it ourselves.
