We will most likely be getting a more "economical" travel friendly alternative to my truck and her Highlander.

You can do both ;)

1 car (Wife), 1 pickup(mine), 1 Jeep (mine also), and wifes Tracker ATM.
Will have a late model Jimmy or Blazer as soon as I find exactly what I want! (Color, accessories, etc.)
Jeep and Tracker ARE for sale though.

3 cars.

914 - strictly weekends/limited use
951 - Any time I can come up with something that remotely resembles a reason to drive it
Mustang - Increasingly little, am considering trading it in on a beater if I can get a good price for it.

keep in mind the honda is only "earning" you money if the difference in gas mileage is enough to pay for the second insurance policy, registration, smog check, depreciation, and maintenance. also keep in mind that selling the second car now will allow you to further pay down the loan on the new car (assuming you have one), saving you money in interest. we're probably talking $1000 per year, at least, to keep the old car.

since you probably get 25 MPG in your Honda, and not too much less than that in your V6 mustang (maybe even the same?), i'm guessing you're not saving much, if any money in the long run.

3 Cars
01 E46 Beemer (Company) - everywhere
92 Mazda RX-7 - highway and good road
99 Nissan 200SX - windie windie roads, panoramic

The two jap cars are all quite heavy on gas, but the 7 feels like a go-kart! I love it. I feel like I'm going 120 when I hit 60 :p!

I'l like to get an all-wheeler sedan. never had one. Like a mitsu Evo 8.
