I've got plenty of socks. I had a nightmare the other day in which I could not put my socks on correctly, but I'm hoping that was an isolated event.

I don't care if it's run by hobbits or not... it's made me money!

i bought Lucent when it was $.66. Now it's like $3.xx. But i sold when it hit $.99 hahahha

i lost a lot of money with CIEN, bought it at $6.xx, now it's $2.xx

AMD is doing well for me, bought it at $14.xx.

I also trade the FOREX. Dollar is really weak compare to the GBP and EUR. The GBP went crazy today, 250 pip movement yesterday.

AMD and LMT (Lockheed Martin), both have been doing really well lately, but I bought these stocks about 4 years ago.

I own individual stocks, mutual funds, and bond funds. Those have been either stagnant or steadily growing this year. Most of my growth this year has come from my metals: gold, platinum, and silver.

people like buying individual stocks to actively support companies they like and believe in. it gives ppl a better sense of ownership rather than mutual funds, EFTs, or similar

even though i own individual stocks, a majority of my investments is through diverse otions such as mutual funds and what not

quite possibly the dumbest investment strategy EVER

I'm currently invested in HELE. They are a pretty solid company with low debt, good growth, and currently have a P/E of 12ish. They also tend to spike in January so I'm hoping this Jan is no different.

All Mad Catz items are pure junk. WAY TO SUPPORT THEM!
actually I love thier xbox wireless controllers.

I own two of their GC controllers. not the highest quality, but the price also reflected that.

And really, I'm in it for making money, not quality control. :)

I bought stocks in O'Charley's in 1996 when I was a kitchen manager for them. I bought at $11.00 and they are like $18.00 now.

I bought stocks in Aquila when they were tanked, cause the owners of the company are friends/cleints of ours. They went from $35.00 to $4.00 which i where I bought. They dipped to $3.50 now, but i am confident that they will go up. I know the company's stradegy for the future and if I hang tight, I think it will be ok.

:)

I have over 100 shares of walmart. Doesn't cost me anything to buy the stock as I just buy it through them.
