do you or have you ever sleep walked?

I used to when I was a kid... not every night or anything, but once or twice a month I'd wake up to find myself in a different room than I went to sleep in (usually on the couch in the living room or tv room, and occasionally on the floor of the living room). I don't think my parents ever knew about it, though, and I pretty much grew out of it by the time I was 15-16.

Yes, as a kid, pretty much the same as you described. I mostly grew out of it, though rarely since then I would still sleep "stand"; I'd be like a zombie in my room, but wouldn't walk that far off.

It hasn't happened in a long while.

I have a very vague recollection that some dreams are involved with my sleepwalking, but I can't remember the details of any of them.

As a kid I would occasionally wake up on the couch downstairs. Never sure how I go there. Its only happened to be once in the past ten years though.

No, but my dad has from time to time since he was a kid. I *have* however woken up with my head at the foot of the bed and vice versa, as a child in a bunk bed with rails on the side >.>

Yes I have. I have a sleep disorder where I immediately go to REM sleep without the prior stages. Sometimes that causes me to wake up, not realize I am awake and do things you might do normally every day. When it started I was really confused because I would wake up in the morning, go into the kitchen and find cereal bowls in the sink , I lived alone and the sink was empty when I went to bed. Imagine waking up and wonder who came into your home and had breakfast . I found out that I was waking up and eating without ever remembering it. I also was sleeping for extremely long periods of time, 28 hours at times. Medication has stopped that and I haven't had it happen in a long time. But having to take stimulants like provigil + adderall all day then major drugs like seroquel at night I wish I didn't have to do.

Mildly. For a couple of days when I was severely sleep deprived I'd walk across the room to turn off my alarm clock and then go back to bed. On the 3rd night I put my alarm clock underneath my desk, and sure enough I woke up the next morning on my hands and knees right in front of my screaming alarm clock. 😛

I used to all the time when I was younger. I would walk to my parents room and stand outside their open door until my mom would wake up and walk me back. There was also times when I would grab a pillow and walk into the wall.

you guys that sleep walked... did you pee the bed when you were a kid too? only asking b/c it's all about not being able to get out of a deep sleep.

Been thinking about me at night again Mosh? 😀
