Do you or anyone you know wear FUBU?

I think someone needs to bring an affirmative action suit against FUBU. Not enough white people. 😛

Same with the NBA.

I'm sure the company says "a sales a sale" but I do think its stupid for white people to wear it.

I always thought FUBU stood for "For U by US".

Either way, I don't have any fubu gear. I do know people who wear it, though.

I just bought a FUBU jacket... not because it looks good (just a regular gray winter jacket), but because its huge. Its so big I feel like an obese man when i get in and out of my car. It's going to do me good this winter, and thats why I have it.

i wear FUBU.....but i understand its not realy for us whites? but im in the UK an it has less meaning here than in the US, plus its not a widely know make. i only have 2 pairs of baggies, 1 shorts and 2 T's. thats it tho and dont wear them that often

does it stand for For Us By Us?

I would never wear that stuff ever, half based on what it looks like, half based on the fact of what it stands for.

around here, it's a black brand and is considered to stand for "for us by us." If you're not black and you're wearing fubu, you will get looks from people. Of course that is unless you're asian or white or whatever and want to look gangsta, then fubu and sean paul and g unit is what you wear.

Sean John... not Sean Paul.

I have a Sean John tshirt. Pretty nice. Nothing over the top. Certainly not a 'gangsta' look.

omg that is foul.

Well here in the south that is what most people will tell you it means. I have friends that are black and they wear this. They even joke about the Farmer's thing too. 🙂

Only people that wear that are white ganster wannabe's. Its rather funny to see kids that grow up on farms in a white area trying to act like "gangsters". I n high school i would always get a kick out of them. Trying to act all taugh and bad. heh

Even the few blacks that were in school would laugh at them. Openly mocking them at every chance.

personally i have not seen many of them. Though my sister has some and i have worn her hooded sweatshirt that was nice and warm when i was working out on the barn.

I think the styling looks like crap and the typical large lettering "FUBU" across the front makes it ever more craptastic. Of course I'm just a dumb white guy.

oh and i personally don't wear it... don't like the huge logo everywhere.... plus all their clothes are in sizes like XXXXXXXL

I see white people, asian people, black people, hispanic people, all types of people wearing FUBU all day everyday. Myself, I'd never wear it just because I don't think the clothes they make are nice. I'll stick to my white t-shirts from K-Mart and my basketball shorts.
