Yes, when else would you operate it?

BTW your second choice makes no sense

Yeah, I noticed that. When I was typing the poll options, I thought I asked, "Do you stop to use your GPS."

So it should say, Yes, ain't nobody got time to stop.

You would pull over to operate it... so you don't get distracted while driving. You might run over a pedestrian randomly crossing the road! Some places have crosswalks with no stop signs or yield lights.

I'm a man, I don't have a GPS cause I don't need no stinkin' directions! :colbert:

I have an odd gap in my brain function. I'm one of the best map readers around, always finished at the front of army land navigation courses. But I can drive the same route 50 times and get lost the next trip. And I never have a bearing.

Frustrates the hell out of people when I look up common places. Really weird and I've tried several methods to improve with zero success.

I try not to change settings while in motion. If needed, wait to do it at a traffic light or pull over.

My OEM in-dash GPS has no restrictions on operation while the vehicle is moving, so yes, I manipulate it while driving.

*gasp* Funny how the human brain works. I only need to go to a place one time and will remember how to get there forever without a map or directions. I don't even read the signs on the highway or streets on subsequent visits. The problem with that though is if somebody asks me for direction, I couldn't tell them because I don't know what the street names are.

I only use the GPS if I'm going to some new place I've never been before.

iDrive is super easy to change while driving with the mouse, you dont even need to look at the screen if youve memorized the sequence of what to do.

Also, I chose "yes" in the poll option but I typically try to set it before moving, but have been know to adjust it on the fly from time to time.

Yeah its really odd. I can track landmarks, memorize turns, memorize overhead routes on maps and I still drive around like an idiot.

I usually look up directions on my phone before i start driving.. find it too distracting. I don't own a GPS.
