Is Oftenly a word?

A:

No. "Often" is already an adverb and adding "-ly" at the end is a redundant waste of letters.

Except, inextricably contained in your statement "it's not a commonly used word" is the idea that 'oftenly' is word, which it most certainly is not.

Just saying. :)

Because informal language is not language? Pretentious troll is pretentious.

It has zero to do with pretentiousness or "informal language", but then, you're obviously not bright enough to understand this while you are just a butthurt little boy trying to score internet points and failing . . . HARD.

Formally posting as the FD and OO:

The next poster who has the dimbulb idea to fill up the page with Trident's non-word and post it, like Barack and Scouzer did, will get immediate time off.

I try to follow up on all threads I've posted in, and if someone responded expecting a response from me, I try to give one. That doesn't apply if the response was stupid.

The way I see it, if no one responds to your post, then it means that you covered your bases and no one can find a direction to attack your argument.

I think by IQ dropped by 2 points just by reading this thread.

I search for my old threads by using my username as the keyword, so that will usually bring up people who quoted me. That's generally how I remind myself to post replies to people in threads.

:hmm:

Maybe that's why so many of my lengthy posts go without response.

And half the responses to my novels are just people agreeing with me.

I must be awesome.
