Do you need ID to cash a postal money order?

depends on the amount.

for smaller amounts. lets say 20-40 bucks they dont require it.
But if it's a high amount, they'll ask for your DL.

Two forms of ID for postal money orders. A utility bill in your name counts as one. Social security cards don't count.

I'm only 17, and I don't have any kind of ID. Will they ask me when I try to cash on at the post office?

Passport always works.

hmm I always thought of it that you need something with your Addy

but my school ID works... and I got there a lot and they remember me 🙂
