I remember I have had it running before, but then last time I installed it, i think it bitched about not having disc 3.

I've only got 1 & 2, and don't really feel like downloading another disc if I don't have to.

BTW, how is the support for NTFS now? safe to write?

oh yeah, whats the best ICQ client? LICQ licks nuts, IIRC.

For Red Hat 7.3 you need all 3 disks, for 7.2 only the 1st 2 disks.

No idea on ICQ and no NTFS isn't safe to write to yet. I proved that 2 weeks ago on my laptop :| but I needed to reinstall XP and RH 7.3 again anyhow.
 
i did the install about a week ago. I know the installation asks for all 3 disks but I don't know if they're all required. I had Mandrake on it before and I had the same problem of not having all the disks. Mandrake continued with the installation, but just skipped out on the extra stuff on the other discs. I dunno if this really helps you or not, but i hope it did...
 
yeah last time i installed it, it asked for all three. but i figured that was because I customized the install.


well i did install it before, so disc 3 must be here.. somewhere (UGH!:|)
 
hmm.. I can't think of anywhere else it could be 🙁

I did find mandrake and freeBSD though.

hm.

oh well.. the hunt continues.
