never really needed to address my computer in any way since i don't talk to it all that much......and i am happy with just referring to it as my computer. though i have distringuised between my different systems such as my athlon, my t-bird, etc etc etc.

(On the local network my gaming PC is called Dog, after the name I use when playing Wolfenstein. But a firewall gateway I just name gateway, no need to think of weird names for them))

My two main boxes are Jonah and Job - Jonah is the new one, called him that because he was caught in the belly of the whale (tufshop.com shipping department) for an extended period of time.
