If I don't during the winter, the skin on my knuckles and elbows with eventually get so dry that they bleed.

I use olive oil.

A lot of dry skin products are utter BS. Use olive oil. Hell of a lot cheaper.

Shiseido Men Cleansing Foam, doubles as a pretty nice shaving foam. Followed by Shiseido Men Moisturizing Cream which also works as an aftershave.
