I do, always have, always will. Share some bagel stories or experiences.

(with cream cheese is implied)

Yes, absolutely, eat one every morning with cream cheese. Living in North Jersey we get very good bagels. They're probably my favorite form of bread.

I envy you. I have never had a fresh east coast bagel before. 🙁 I had one my dad bought that day and flew back and gave me, and it was still delicious, but never a fresh one. 🙁

I do love them, though I rarely eat them. I can't eat that much for breakfast.

Years ago, I found a cell phone in the road. After tracking down the owner, I found it belonged to local bagel shop owner, and he lost it on a catering run. When he came to pick it up, he gave me a big bag of bagels, and a bunch of different toppings. I was pleased.

Saying I love them would be a bit strong, but I like them very much. I've been getting flat bagels a lot lately, and I use them for sandwich bread for burgers and stuff.

bagels in the NY tri-state area only. I'm originally from NJ, but living in NH now. The bagels here in New England are an abomination.

Toikey sammich on a super purist bagel, which is garlic, onions and poppy seeds. Lettuce, onions and mayo, delicious.

Yes I like them. Great when it's lightly toasted with cream cheese.

Even better when it's pan fried with butter.

Yum, baggles. I like my baggle with cream cheese and lox, red onion and capers. Maybe some tomato, too, but then the shit starts to fall off the baggle if there's too many toppings.

bagels in order of preference:

everything
garlic
onion
salt
plain

topping combos in order of preference:

bacon, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup
lox spread
cream cheese + butter
butter
cream cheese
turkey + mayo

I usually get cinnamon raisin or parmesan cheese bagels from Costco. Strawberry or dark chocolate cream cheese.

I make a really awesome bagel sammich with omelette, bacon, and havarti cheese.
