To answer the question though, no I don't lose shit. My wallet fell out of my pocket on an airplane when I was 13 or so. I noticed and they let me back on to find it. After that I have complete OCD about my stuff.

Lost my retainer twice, recovered it once... I may be very oblivious to my surroundings but I normally don't lose things.
