Do you look young or old for your age?

My friend is 24 and he got carded for an R-rated movie. 😀
Then there are those 16 year olds that can buy alcohol without getting carded.

I get "Are you (my age + 2)?" a lot....

the "2" is going to get more for a bit until I'm around 25, and then its gonna level out, methinks.

haven't checked in a while but at least as recent as two years ago people thought I was more like 25-27 (I'm 25 now). I can act maturely and intelligently around people when I want, although it doesn't seem that way on Anandtech. Being reserved seems to help it as well.

I definitely look younger than all my friends that are the same age. My problem is that I have bags under my eyes. People are always asking me if I'm tired or if I had a rough night.

I guess I'm just right for my age (I'm 23). I always get carded when buying alcohol. Growing a mustache and goatee did make me look older though. On the other hand, people constantly think my wife is my age, when she's actually several years older. The first time I saw her mom and her mom's mom, I told my wife that I would be very lucky if she looked that good when she was her mom's age. 😀

I have had people in my dept. ask if I was in my late 20s before (I'm a CA, I associate mostly with the RAs, who are all my age or older). I'm 20.

of course, it didn't help that I generally associate with the older RA's (we have a few in their mid-20s) and the RD's.

Well, not just that, I've had residents and others around campus mistake me for being in my late 20s.

I'm 26 but I look quite a bit younger. A couple months ago I got carded at Walmart for buying super glue. A message came up on the screen to check if the customer was 18, the lady looked at me and asked, "can I see some ID".

Very young. I'm 26 but I still get carded if I want to buy a lottery ticket or something. But I guess it may be that I don't drink or smoke and I've never been one to go out and tan, ever really. Everyone says I have a baby face. A few years ago it was a bit annoying, but I'm sure that when I'm like 45 or 50 I'll love it that I look like I'm 35 or 40!
