Last year I was a little over 300 lbs. I got down to 228 right before xmis, and have gotten away from my main cardio routine that i lost the bulk of my weight with...and shifted to 75% weights and i do a protein supplement once or twice a day. My weight is up to 240 - not in a bad way though, ive really benefitted from it - but Im going to get back on my old cardio and diet routine to get back down to 200 this year.

My ipod is full of awesome music that ive grown tired of while working out, so i started looking for podcasts to listen to while doing cardio. I found a few good comedy casts, but i havent found a good motivational/weight loss oriented cast yet.

Just curious if any of you have suggestions on whats good to listen to.

So far this is what I listen to:

The Joe Rogan experience
Startalk Radio (love Neil)
American Freethought
Mr. Diety (funniest video cast ever)
The Pod F. Tompkast - hilarious rambling

I hear you on the music issue; I have specifically started chopping my workout playlists down and making 2-3 separate ones so I can cycle them in and out since I get sick of training to the same music.

Never thought of any podcasts other than DJ ones. I know I personally could not lift to a talk show or motivational speech.

Things I do to keep motivated:
- I read Henry Rollins' essay "The Iron" at least once a week. Gets better every time.

- I keep around pictures of physiques I find motivating. I've been mocked for having pictures of old-school lifters like Reg Park and pics of Hugh Jackman training for Wolverine, but I see those guys and instantly feel to drive to hit the gym, so it works for me.
