I'm talking about non-commercial stations.
I have a very old Sangeen countertop radio that I really like. But it came out back when 802.11g was the state of the art in home wifi. The software still works though. You gotta backward compatibility.
A lot of commercial stations "broadcast" on the web but that's mainly if you live in one part of the country and want to listen to a station a thousand miles away. I'm pretty sure that's what I heart Radio is.
I was searching for goth stations a few days ago. Found about a dozen just from looking at the names. Also picked up an EDM station that I've been listening to.
