Do you like your keyboard keys soft, or clickety, and hard?

I like mines nice and soft. I just got a new keyboard. I love it, it's so soft. I can type with ease. But my spacebar button is making some weird noises. But I can live with it. This is the first time I've gotten the keys so soft.

Clickety, of course. The only way I'll ever be able to reach 120+wpm :)

WHAT?

i think i type way faster with the keys softer then harder.

that's weird, to each his own. but i guess i got lucky with this keyboard. because ive owned a few of these and all of them have been hard. my gf has the same keyboard and i thought hers was soft. but this is even softer.

i like the keys soft, but responsive. they must have a slight "bounce-back" feeling...
i hate those white $10 ibm keyboards. they're the perfect example of how NOT to design a keyboard

Soft and nearly silent like a laptop. I despise the really clicky ones

clicky, quiet and smooth. Oh gosh type of keyboard makes a HUGE! difference in how fast and accurate I can type. Obviously I can do about 20-30wpm on mushy stiff feeling keyboard at school.. I have to push damn hard to get the keys down and that takes longer than my nice keyboard.

Its hard to find the old style IBM click keyboards, I think Keytronic is about the only company who still makes this style keyboard. I love them. There is no positive tactile response to the soft and mushy keyboards, and if you learned like I to type on a venerable classic - the IBM Selectric - you're lost without that click-ity-click.

IBM "medium" style, not too soft, but with the right amount of feedback. Can't stand clickety...

I like the feel of clickety keyboards, but wish they were quieter ;).
