Do you like your job?

Not any more I don't. It was nice and good pay for where I am in my life atm, but the BS has been building for some time now it is ridiculous. Now they've got us in little high wall halfy "cubicles" where it's like a half square w/ a desk in it and our chairs stick out. ZERO privacy, it's really more of a cubby. :| I'm not even going to mention how much more inane and less challenging the job has gotten.
If anyone needs an indie type computer tech guy or help desk person in SoCal lemme know. :disgust:

Well, someone has to do it. I agree it would suck though.

They have me porting a program written in 1993 to all new platforms, SGI and Linux and possible windows. And the previous programmer hate writting comments and documentation.

Man's got to do what a man's got to do, once you're paid enough to do it.
 
The actual job is easy and very good pay, but the personalities and management style blows.
 
i only work part time as i'm in HS, but i currently despise my job. it's not the work, it's the conditions. if i take a break, work piles up so i would have to leave an hour later. sucks. i will quit and find a job in a comp place 😀

I hate my job, my boss, my pay and the work....Once another pops up and opens new doors, I am so out of here.
 
I love my job. I do vehicle patrols for the UM Dept. of Public Safety. It doesn't get much better than using a slim-jim on a daily basis.

I like my job. It's only a part time job though and really isn't going towards a career, but for now and for the next while it's great.

I like my job, when there's actual development to do. Otherwise, we sit around and support our app, which gets dull.
 
I like it most of the time. PLeasant work environment, nice people, flexible boss.

Right now though I'm doing security work (windows, iis, webserver) and I hate it.
