I used to love my job. Problem now is that we had a major change in upper management, and levels higher than them decided to slash our manning while upping our workload. And to add to that, our career field is going away, but no body knows when, they are going to redo the floor in the shop, but nobody knows when, we are supposed to get IAIS stations in, but no one knows when. Lots of uncertainty is leading almost every in my shop who is close to reenlistment to ponder civilian or civil service jobs.

90% satisfaction. would i rather be hiking in the alps? yes. but having to go to work, i think im happier than most

My old job, yes. People were great, it was pretty fun. The work wasn't that bad, and got to do some pretty fun stuff.

Current job, no. Working at a corporate style head office with directors and high cubicle walls is lame. Half the time I have no work, people barely interact here. Also, not exactly what I really wanted to do with my summer, so I'm happy I'm being paid, but I'm finding the key to the roof if this is the rest of my life...

I honestly don't know though. I like what i do now, but coming in 5 days a week just sucks 😛

I like working, and enjoy the job/career I have now. If I won the lottery, I would not quit working...yet! 😛
