do you like Windows ME?

I don't get what everyone's beef is with it. I rarely had problems with Windows ME compared to Windows 98 OSR1.

Same for me. But I won't go back now that I'm using xp. 😉

Agreed, only reason I have WinME installed is because my old RCA USB Cable modem won't work with Win98SE🙁, but WinME seems to be "decent", hey its only $45 for the OEM.
 
If you don't load a lot of crap on it , its stable and a lot faster than 98 SE

Whats not to like? Not a lot of overhead required IE compared to 2000 at the time.
If I have a machine less than a gig proc and less than 256 MB of ram I load ME, that simple
Has to be a gig proc and 256 min for W2K or XP.
Lots of home users still have a P3 800 Duron 900 with 128 MB or so, ME works perfect for something like that.
 
I've installed it on my laptops and it works well. Better hardware support than 98se.
