It's alright here in San Diego. Beaches are cool but I think I would rather live on Hawaii:)

I used to live in the "tenderloin" district in Oakland. My house was next to this little park where drug dealers dwelled every night. They came into my backyard and removed all my flood lights (with motion sensors) because I guess they were interfering with their so called "customers." :Q:|

Yup, Sunnyvale, California. In the heart of the Silicon Valley, great weather, a surplus of smart people, and lots of computers. Plus its the 4th saftest city in the US.

To bad the Freeways are gridlocked and the price of Housing is ridiculous. I use to live there when the quality of life was much higher than it is now.

I live in Macon, Georgia.
I like the people, I like the pace. There are urban areas, but it's easy to lose yourself in the backwoods in a matter of minutes. None of the big-city hurry up and wait stuff going on.
Oh, and Nu-way on Cotton Ave. :)
...but I have severe allergies and the pollen counts are some of the highest in the world :|
I like everything about where I live except for what it does to my health.

Not really. It's cold, dry, the people are rude, there is no beach, no sweet tea, no Mardi Gras, and the town smells funny ;)

I can't really complain though, because I'm still here.

I don't really like it. I mean it's a nice area and all, but it's mostly old bags and young kids. Bleh. I either see little kids on yellow school buses, or seniors driving their expensive cars (that they can barely drive). Furthermore the weather sucks donkey more than 3/4 of the year. I wish it was spring-like all year long. I don't like 30-40c weather any more than -20c, but I do hate freezing my arse off.

I'd rather live somewhere that doesn't get snow at all, or only gets a very small amount for short period of time.

I live in Athens, Ga. I love it here. It's almost always moderate. Except in the summer, of course, when it gets hot and humid as hell. But it's still not unbearable. There's still a small town feel with a nice community. It's a colege town, so there's tons of live music and stuff to do. And it's close enough to a major city (Atlanta) for a day trip or whatever. I could go on....

Let's just say that I'm from extremely-northwestern New York (15 miles from Canada) which happens to be extremely cold and friendly, and now I'm stuck in North Carolina which happens to be extremely hot and impersonal. You do the math.

SF Bay Area, very nice place but traffic is terrible sometimes. Also homes are ridiculously expensive, i.e. a nearby 28 yr old 1888 sq ft one-story single-family home is asking about $500,000... Thinking about moving to Central Valley in the near future.
