Just wondering what u guys thought of U2, i love them, they have to be my favorite band. I think achtung baby, and the joshua tree are the two best albums of all time.

yeah...I like them. Actually, my dad does too, they are one of his favorite bands. I think that is one of the few things we have in common...that and love of cars.

U2 are a group of outstanding artists and songwriters who have consistently put out excellent music for more than the last 20 years.
 
Love the old stuff and JT and AB. Zooropa was a wtf? And so was Pop. All That You Can't Leave Behind brought a passion back to their music that had been missing for a long time. Looking forward to the new stuff about to come out but I think they should consider retirement. I'd hate to see them turn into another Rolling Stones...touring for the sake of touring.

Just wish they'd put more stuff on DVD! Haven't picked up that Boston show as I heard too many complaints about the fast editing style. Why can't that Slane show that CBS broadcast be put on DVD? Damn that was amazing!

And the Live at Sydney show, too...not to mention Under a Blood Red Sky.

His boo-hoo routine about how America exploits countries by lending them money, and that we should just forgive the debt, is really annoying.
