Love storms.
Weather has always been fascinating to me, and I love to watch a good storm roll in. We had a huge one last year, a big front coming through, and I actually went and found a nice dark spot to watch it at. Apparently a small tornado did touch down during that storm front. Nowhere near me though (about 70 miles away)

Afaic, you don't know thunderstorms until you've stayed in a place like Arkansas or similar. CA, IL, east coast...not even close.

Powerful thunderstorms here usually come with tornado watches/warnings, so no... I don't particularly enjoy them.

EDIT:

Although, we've had some crazy lightning storms here, which were kind of cool looking. I've never seen one as wild as some of the photos you see around the web, but ones where there's at least a flash of lightning every 1-3 seconds.

Yes, very much. I used to live on the Gulf Coast where they were common occurrence. During certain parts of the summer, you could almost set your clock by them.

I love thunderstorms, though we don't seem to get the good ones like we used to anymore. We get maybe 1-2 per summer if we're lucky.
