Microsoft is training you. If you don't notice a similarity between the Windows XP click and the click people use to train animals...

Wrong.

It is part of XP. Go to control panel-->sounds and turn them off. Don't need to go to IE at all.

At least I don't have to type everything that I want it to do like some other "superior" OS.

With opera around its hard to believe IE is still used. You are all microsofts tools.

I went through and changed all my sounds, you can get any short wav file to work instead of the scheme they give you. Right now I have cartoony sounding "doing" and when I close windows I have the sound of glass breaking.

I think my mouse's clicking sound is enough to remind me that I did in fact press the mouse button
edit: typo fixed quick

Nope, I disable all the fancy frills of XP. I like the classic look with no sound or animation. Just easy to use menus.

Yup, same here.

MozillaFirebird doesn't click, but when you're searching through folders in Windows Explorer that dasm click gets on my nerves. Especially when you're listening to music and all you hear is "CLICK....CLICK....CLICK" real loud :disgust:
