Sriracha is good on a lot of things. Just enough to spice things up without being too hot that it overpowers the flavors of other stuff. I'm starting to see it in a lot of American grocery stores and restaurants now. The Sambal Oelek is great to use as a dipping sauce.

Siracha is great on most things but I like Tapatio or Cholula on my Mexican dishes.

Cholula is good stuff when you want a punchy, vinegary sauce that doesn't overwhelm on the heat. I like it better than Franks as well.

Interesting story, but I'm still a Tabasco man myself.

By the way... They have a Tabasco Soy Sauce in their Avery Island company store that is awesome. I've never seen it anywhere else in the states, though, since I think that it's only made for export to Japan.

Tabasco, franks and this are all great. I have them all in my fridge. Each has a good flavor and depending on my mood is what i have.

but man the Sambal Oelek is great. i love it on a cheeseburgers!

I like to marinate and fry wings in Frank's red hot. Has the smell and zest of really good hot sauce but it's a bit overpowering on the hot taste. It's not too hot but kind of firey. I like it when I'm all stuffed up from sinuses.

Just tried it... I've never had the suace, so I can't fully speak - but it's... alright... I'd take the fiery BBQ or new Black Pepper Garlic over it for sure.
I just cut the seal and tried it. I didn't think it was to bad. It has really good flavor.
I'm new to Big Johns though. I ordered the four pack sampler for the first time a week or so ago. I got the fiery hot, teriyaki, original recipe and sriracha.

Besides the two you mentioned above do you have any other recommendations on what flavors are good from them? I'm pretty impressed with my initial tasting so I will be ordering more once this sampler is gone.

I'm a big fan of Big John's Jerky too, I think I heard about it on this forum originally.
I tried both the Sriracha and Fiery Sriracha (which might be becoming the default variation, based on the email newsletters they send out).
Both are very good, probably my favorite flavors from them. Before that, I stuck to Original + Fiery Hot (Lower Sodium variety).
