Like white castles or mcdonalds onions. I hate thoses little things.

Not particularly. I don't mind if there are none, but I do like a few slivers. As long as it doesen't overpower the rest of the taste(s), it's all good.

Hamburger patties are best when there are sweet onions packed into the beef patty itself and grilled on a charcoal BBQ.

Add some roasted red-bell pepper and chopped garlic to that. :)

I also like to add some chopped up maple-smoked bacon, instead of putting the cooked strips ontop. :)

Yes, if they are grilled or fresh, but not the reconsituted/dehydrated like on the entry-level McD's burger. (The .25 lb'er has cut up fresh onions).

First choice on a charcoal grilled burger, is a fresh slice of cold tomato, Miracle Whip salad dressing, with a nice crisp, cold leaf of lettuce. Second choice would be a 1/4" thick slice of Bermuda onion, and yellow mustard. How should I mark the poll? :confused:
