That being said, the singles I've heard seem better than a lot of other modern crap. Mainstream music is in sad shape these days.

They are all right I guess. Not a big fan of rap metal.

Alien Ant Farm's bus crashed about a year ago, but I don't think any of them died...

I loved Hybrid Theory.

Only heard a couple songs off of Reanimation, and I don't like Somewhere I Belong from Meteora, but I haven't heard the rest of the CD...

Their new cd is pretty decent, but I like their Reanimation disc. Remixes are cool.

I'm surprised they have such wide appeal, even amongst those who are so quick to dismiss bands as sellouts or copy cats once they make it big. Perhaps they're one of the few good modern rock bands.
