DOES for me. I don't snack on anything but fruit. I eat about 5+ apples alone in ONE DAY. Yes I LOVE fruit. I eat a lot of apples though. I also eat oranges, bananas, pears on a daily basic and I always try to average 7+ pieces of fruit a day. The governement in England are pushing for 5 pieces which my friends get no wear near but it does include fruit and vegetables though.
I love the more exotic fruits as well, mangos, the different kind of melons, and the fruits that I don't know the English names for etc etc.
I typically when feel hungry I go to the fridge and take 2 apples out at a time. I usually go back and get another one as well. I don't eat chocolate bars or crisps. I've cut that out of my diet for the past 2 years and I have also cut out fizzy drinks for the past 2 months.
Its not hard but then I'd ALWAYS take an apple over chocolate bar/sweets/cake/crisps anyway. I snack but I snack on apples as I really like the taste.
Also its much better for your diet.
