Taco Del Mar makes bigger burritos (and better IMO) but Chipotle is definitly pretty damn good. I like how their tortilla chips taste like lime.
 
i hate taco bell. my friends happen to take me to chipotle last weekend and i really liked it. the burritos were big, tasty, and satisfying...yummm

10 bucks at Quiznos is easy to do. there is one right across the street from my office, i dont go there much because it is expensive for a sub.
 
yes though baja fresh is better

still enjoy a nice chicken burrito

and i love that you can order a beer with your meal even though i would consider it fast food

Baja Fresh has a bigger selection and a better salsa bar. Thats all it has on Chipotle. The food at Chipotle is much much better. Quality over Quantity.
 
the best thing about chipotle is that you can pile as much stuff as you want (minus meat). So if you want more rice, you get more rice. More grilled peppers/onions? no prob. More salsa, guac, sour cream? sure thing.

HUGE burritos.

I love burrito bols more tho.
 
I love it. I like the Burrito Bowl with Chicken, rice, black beans, hot salsa, cheese, and guacamole. 🙂
 
Nothing special, better than Taco Bell. The barbacoa is pretty good though.
I wonder how many people would sing a different tune knowing it's owned by McDonald's?

Everyone here i work with is obessed with that place and thinks its the greatest, and the line in there is always nearly out the door at lunch time. in my opinion though, the burritos are too big. You get one bite of nothing but rice, another of nothing but sour cream. I wish they at least mixed things up a bit. ANd the flavor really isnt that good. For the price of one burrito, i could go to tacobell and get a ton more food that is also pretty good.

but, since i ate there last night even though the line was out to the door and winding through the dining area and I didn't even consider going to Rubio's just across the parking lot, I'd have to say yes, I like it. Alot.

Wife and I personally pronounce it:

Chi - pol - ter - giest.

It is just our strange sense of humor. Personally, I had Chipotle twice and have no cravings for it. Their menu is just too limited for me. I can't find a combination that makes a good burrito. I'd rather just get a nice burrito at another mexican restaurant (no Taco Hell crap either). I'll eat at Chipotle if asked, but I won't drive there myself. Plus the line is always like an hour long. Certainly isn't worth the time.
 
The thing about Chipotle is the ingredients they use are much above average for your typical 'taco place'.

Sadly, their ain't SHIYIT in Bend that tastes anywhere near as good as Chipotle. Parilla is okay, but their rice isn't dry enough (I think they boil it to cook it?) and by the time you get to the end of the burrito, it's kinda soggy. Which sucks.

Damn, making me hungry for Chipotle again. DAMN. Nearest one is friggin PORTLAND.
