no i'm not, i do research and pick what items meet my needs best, and go from there. and from my useage habits, i know that being able to expand the storage on my phone had no bearing on my decision to go one way or the other since it is a feature i have no interest in.

I have a friend at work who just got his ip4s - he switched from an OG droid, he has apple everything else. when i told him this afternoon that he couldn't watch porn on his phone because it didn't support flash he look liked i just killed his dog and made him watch it was one of the saddest most hilarious moments i have ever been involved in

I used to be a hater. Apple first got me with the iPod Nano, then the iPhone. We now have 3 MBP, 1 MBA, 4 iPhones and a few iPads in the household. We had countless Windows machines before Macs, but they all broke down within 2-3 years of use (laptops). The upfront cost of owning a Mac is high compare to a Windows solution, but the Macs usually last longer, the software on Macs are usually cheaper, and you don't have to spends hours tinkering and supporting your machines.

We had a bunch of Dells and none of them felt as satisfying to use as a Mac. I don't mind paying for a quality products, and that's exactly how Macs feel like. Overall, the family is happy, and that is priceless in my opinion.

There'll be a ton of knock offs soon, but Apple raised the bar for the other manufacturers with the MBA.

Just like it did with quite a few other products.

One of the theories about why Apple products are hated so much is that the "tech gurus" suddenly lose their status when products like the iPad and MBA's become popular.

I've made almost $150K on Apple stock so far, and I'm loving the drama. And there's more to come as the unwashed masses continue to buy Apple products.

The best part is that I've had every version of Android since 1.6 and own(ed) nearly a dozen Android OS'd phones. Am currently using a rooted ThunderBolt, but have a used Verizon iPhone 4 coming next week, wil likely use it till the iP5 comes out next year. Android's an awesome OS, have a Kindle Fire and a Kindle Touch pre-ordered, and use a rooted/rommed nook color too, along with a couple of iPads, one with a grandfathered unlimited data plan, although I have the sim card in a modded iP4 for AT&T.

I love being labeled as an Apple fanboy, and I honestly get a kick out of all the hate, it's like watching idiots argue over brands of crescent wrenches.

What brand of crescent wrenches do you like, kev and system mechanic?

I like the original myself.

Do you have any preferences of brands of hammers? I think my favorite is a 20 oz Plumb with a fiberglass handle.
